Anyword, a marketing copywriting software startup now based in New York City, was founded 10 years ago in Israel under a different name: Keywee.
It was early days for some of the tech trends and buzzwords now gripping Silicon Valley: natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence, both of which have been implemented for years, training its AI model of copywriting based on GPT 3 out of two billion data points from marketing copy across industries, enabling its marketing clients to create optimized copy to perform well and get specific demographics to click on. No wonder in 2015secured Series A funding from former Google CEO Eric Schmidt and an early client, The New York Times.
Today, the company is adding more to its in-house AI offerings, offering its customers new integrations with the hottest AI models in marketing: OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Artificial intelligence concept from startup for note taking and brainstorming and Canva AI from graphic design web app.
Anyword’s goal is conceptually simple but logistically ambitious: to enable marketers and creative clients who are already using its web software (or who are considering) to be able to use these three aforementioned third-party AI tools while remaining aligned with the voice of their brand and what has previously resonated with their target audience.
As Anyword states in a press release: “ChatGPT and other LLMs are not designed for marketing; they don’t know the brand’s voice, product or customers, or what resonates with their base.
Instead, in Anyword’s vision of AI for marketers, Anyword performs a “snap website scan” on a customer’s website and then scores the outputs of a marketer’s prompts to ChatGPT, Notion AI or Canva AI, ranking them on a scale of 1 to 100 with how well they align with the client’s “tone of voice, brand rules, product and company details, and target audience.”
Anyword customers can then also click ‘Increase Performance’ to further refine their copy to fit their target audience and brand voice, ensuring their marketing emails or advertisements are as resonant and engaging as possible. possible.
“Users can seamlessly incorporate their brand identity and target audience into an LLM (Broad Language Model) using our integration,” said Yaniv Makover, CEO and co-founder of Anyword, in a statement provided to the press. “This means that the copy they create with ChatGPT, Notion AI, Canva AI – and soon everywhere else they generate or write content – will be brand-driven and performance-driven, with predictive analytics proven to increase conversion by 30%.”
